1. Information we collect
The App stores only the information that contractors and payroll employees voluntarily provide during self-registration, plus what NCC administrators record on their behalf:
- Full name, mobile number, optional email address
- City and state of work base
- Trade(s) offered and crew size / years of experience
- PAN / Aadhar number used for KYC verification
- NCC site name (for on-roll employees / NCCL contractors)
- Profile photo, ID/license documents, certifications
- Self-reported availability signals ("Ready to Mobilize" / "Ready to Join")
We do not collect device identifiers, precise GPS location, advertising IDs, contacts, SMS, microphone, camera (beyond user-initiated uploads), or any data unrelated to manpower vetting.
2. How information is used
- To match approved contractors and payroll manpower with NCC project sites.
- To allow administrators to verify identity, trades, and availability.
- To send approval / rejection / re-approval notifications via email and optional web push notifications.
3. Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share any personal data with third parties for marketing. Data is accessible only to the user themselves (read-only), authorised NCC Limited administrators, and the operational sub-processors required to run the service (MongoDB Atlas, Resend, hosting).
4. Data retention
Records are retained while the contractor / employee is active. Self-withdrawn or rejected records are soft-deleted (status=rejected, withdrawn=true) and permanently purged by an administrator within 90 days unless a legal hold applies.
5. Security
- All traffic is served over HTTPS (TLS 1.2+).
- Admin authentication uses bcrypt-hashed passwords plus JWT sessions.
- Contractor / payroll login uses mobile-number identity; access is limited to their own profile.
6. User rights
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing shamshuddin.k@nccltd.in. Approved users can also self-withdraw from inside the app.
7. Children
The App is not intended for users under 18.
8. Changes to this policy
Material changes will be communicated by email to registered admins and by an in-app notice. The "Effective date" above will be updated.
